Volunteer your way to financial freedom

Volunteer your way to financial freedom. Ok, maybe not exactly but consider this, if you’re spending your time working on issues that directly affect you and that you are passionate about then you aren’t sitting around bored, thinking, “man, if I only had that new Wii game I wouldn’t be so bored.”

Not sure how to volunteer? Or maybe you think there isn’t a group you’re interested in volunteering for. Start your own organization. Use those social networking sites like Vocalo, Facebook – whatever. Just make a connection to some real people who are down with some of the same ideas as you. Hook up at a library or a park or something. Have everyone show up with their favorite pizza and sit around trying each others slices while you hash out how you’re going to change the world.

Making a difference is as much about pulling together some like minds as it is about the action that comes out of that meeting. So volunteer, change your world, kill your boredom and find out that not spending money can be as fun (and a lot more productive) than spending it.
