The house has been under renovation since moving in, back in 2003. One of the renovations I’ve wanted to do for years but was unable to do given some disagreement over whether or not it should be undertaken was to remove one window from my bedroom that previously overlooked the carport that I was hoping to enclose as an honest to goodness garage. Well, one thing led to another and the window was removed so that the garage could be built. With the garage built I could then use the wall which was once bisected by a window to build two new wardrobes and fit my dresser in between them, freeing up the old closet to be transformed into a half bath (still in process).

The phrase that I painted on the wall is not original, Gail found it and passed it on to me. I built the bed as well which you can see in the next post.
