Char Bar tile job

If there is one place that sums up the first few years of my time here in Columbus it would be the Char Bar. While I don’t frequent this establishment anymore there are still plenty of friends that I keep in touch with that came out of there. Dining room table extension

Our dining room table currently sits six guests comfortably but for the holiday’s we wanted a little more room for both guests and food. With that in mind I built a folding table that mates well to our oval shaped table. In the pictures below you can see how it folds and the leg mechanism I went with. This table is easy to store, sturdy, and useful as both an extension to our current table as well as a standalone card table.

Yarn skein

My dear friend from my hometown was kind enough to make me some wool socks, in return I made her a skein for her yarn. I built it to be flat-packed for shipping sake and to make it easier to store. I have a feeling there are better designs out there but this one was, well, technically “free” and she seems pleased with it.
